This blog will start with an OPEN FORUM for discussion of the OROFINO CREEK FARM located in the VALLEY OF HEAVEN otherwise known as the Okanagan or the Okonogon Valley, depending on whether you are in Canada or the United States. The Orofino Creek Farm is in
Canada, about half-way between Oliver and Cawsten, as the crow flies.
Much has already transpired since the Orofino Creek Farm Project began on October 27th, 2007. Some of this story will be told here retrospectively as people offer their respective tales to share here with others.
The blog will be a collaborative effort, starting with a discussion among people who are already involved in some way with the farm and all its related projects, and will hopefully expand to include as many others as are willing to contribute their positive ideas and visions to this
multi-dimensional adventure.
As the founder of the Orofino Creek farm, and a participant in many of its projects, programs, and activities, I sincerely hope that this discussion will not only be a rich tapestry of ideas, visions, hopes, and dreams, but also a fascinating "Ourstory" of all the real experiences that occur along the way towards the transformationall goals to which we are so powerfully drawn.
In the course of the achievement of our goals, not all of our expectations will be fulfilled,
but even when we fall short, we must vigilantly believe that we truly have what it takes to
build the world we truly long to live in, where there is peace, health, harmony, joy and love, in
every family, every home and every workplace, and that we constantly nurture & support our selves, our families, friends, and even every stranger that we meet, or come to know of', so that we may collectively transform our lives and communities so that they will be filled with an overflowing abundance of all the natural riches of our planet and this neverending, phenomenal, and astonishing universe.
